Web surfers start to turn off???
According to Nielsen/Net Ratings the average time spent
online by US surfers fell by 15 percent between October and December-from
17.5 hours per month to 14.9 hours. The average number of online sessions
per month also dropped during this period from 33 to 28, in line with the
number of unique sites visited which fell from 17 to 20. Although the user
tracking service has noticed a downturn for Christmas and Thanksgiving in
previous years, this is the first time that it has seen such a significant
drop.
