Direct Connect for Web Surfers With 800 Number Call Centers

IDT Corporation (NASDAQ: IDTC) announced that it has fully integrated its Click2Talk application into the online Internet 800 toll free directory. Users will now be able to place phone calls free to any 800 or 888 number directly from several other major directories and search engines’ web sites. This will increase the reach of E-Commerce worldwide and expand the sales and service potential of any business.

The Internet 800 Directory (www.inter800.com), which is directly linked to WhoWhere?, Excite, InfoSpace and WorldPages, provides free listings and searches by company name, business category, 800/888 number and by state. Businesses can electronically submit their listing information via the Web site or by dialing a toll-free number. The Internet 800 Directory is the only major toll-free directory to allow for all users’ listings online, free, and regardless of carrier.

By integrating the Click2Talk application into the Internet 800 Directory, businesses will be able to expand their E-Commerce offerings worldwide by providing seamless U.S. toll free calling to people outside the US. Click2Talk works in conjunction with IDT’s Net2Phone, the world’s first PC-to-phone service, which has already routed over 20 million minutes of IP telephony calls.

"Internet users will benefit greatly from this new dialing integration between Click2Talk and the 800 Internet Directory. Now users won’t have to log off in order to place a phone call," said Charles H. Arning, Jr., Executive Vice President of JAServices, Inc., which owns the Internet 800 Directory.

"We’re putting a voice behind a web site," remarked Jim Courter, President of IDT. "Potentially businesses can radically boost sales from their web sites, and make it easier for their customers to purchase goods and interact with live sales reps at no cost, opening U.S. based merchants to consumers anywhere in the world with an Internet connection."
