NEBS Introduces Self-Service Printing in Major Retail Locations

Small business owners with no design or computer experience can now use innovative touch-screen technology to create professionally designed promotional products and essential business forms in as little as 10 minutes’ time.

A select number of PostNet, Merchandise Mart, Le Print Express (located in Wal-Mart Superstores) and other retail stores, in addition to several Fleet Bank locations, are installing and testing new self-service NEBS Custom Printing Stations which allow small businesses to design their own forms, stationery, labels, checks, business cards and other products and to submit orders electronically to New England Business Service (NEBS), headquartered in Groton, MA. The NEBS Custom Printing Station is a one-stop, interactive kiosk that guides the user through product selection and design using a touch-sensitive screen. NEBS is a leading provider of custom and standard printed products for small businesses.

"The self-service trend, which started with gas pumps and automatic teller machines, now extends to small business printing," says Joe Cali, Interactive Marketing Director for NEBS. "The benefits are enormous. The small business owner can save time as well as money on design costs, printers’ set-up fees and reorders because what you see on the screen is exactly what you get."

The NEBS Custom Printing Station offers small business owners many other advantages. The kiosk accepts credit cards, offers a customer support telephone line directly to NEBS, and has built-in design aids and thousands of pre-designed logos. As with all NEBS products, merchandise ordered through the kiosk is 100% guaranteed.

Orders made at the NEBS Custom Printing Station are generally shipped to small businesses within 72 hours.
