The Cost of Adding Fax Numbers to Your List
My contact, Fred Webster, at American Sales Leads, a subdivision of American Business
Information, told MWT that the cost for list enhancement is a minimum $1,000 for matching
your list and then 10 cents per added fax number. "We have fax numbers for 80% of
companies with over 100 employees. The smaller companies are less frequent; we have fax
numbers for about 20% of those."
Here is an example of what a project like this would cost:
 | 10,000 name database |
 | $1,000 set up and match fee |
 | 60% match rate = 6,000 records |
 | If among those 6,000 records 3,000 have over 100 employees, you could expect 2,400 new
fax numbers. The remaining 3,000 matched records would have approximately 600 new fax
numbers, for a total of, 3,000 new fax numbers. |
 | 3,000 new fax numbers @ $.10 per name for $300 |
 | TOTAL COST $1,300.00 (bringing the cost to 43 cents a number) |
