Patent Information Database Launched By IBM

The full contents of more than two million patents filed from 1979 have been made available online by IBM. The fully searchable database contains all patents from the US Patent and Trademark Office from 1979 and the majority of those from 1971 to 1979. Together this amounts to more than two million documents and enough material to fill 2,800 CD-ROM disks. It’s a major new Internet resource. World Wide Web: http://patent.womplex.ibm.com/ibm.html
